About 365 Prince of Wales Drive — Limelight Condos
The Limelight Condos at 365 Prince of Wales Drive was the 7th tower built by Daniels Corporation in Mississauga’s downtown core, which suggests that the developer and the neighbourhood work particularly well together. Daniels enlisted the help of architects from Kirkor Architect + Planners to get the job done, and the 22-storey modern glass tower was completed in 2012.
In addition to its 236 homes, the Limelight Condos is also decked out in amenities including a concierge, gym, basketball court, party room, theatre, terrace with barbecues, guest suites, and visitor parking. Environmentally conscious condo seekers will also be glad to hear that the building features a car share program, bicycle parking, and greenhouse and garden up on the terrace.
The Suites
Homes in the building come in many shapes and sizes: studios start at 450 square feet, two bedroom units max out at around 1,050 square feet, and some suites contain dens as well. Though this makes the Limelight Condos perfect for single residents and couples, the only families the building is really suitable for are small ones.
Regardless of its size, every suite at 365 Prince of Wales is bright and airy thanks to floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows and 9- to 10-foot ceilings. Open concept kitchens are decidedly modern thanks to their breakfast bars, granite countertops, porcelain tile backsplashes, and stainless steel appliances. And bamboo flooring — both an ecologically friendly and a stylish choice — can be found throughout the building.
The Neighbourhood
It’s hard to beat a neighbourhood like Mississauga’s Downtown Core, with its endless amenities, cultural venues, and shopping and dining options. Between the Square One Shopping Centre, Playdium Amusement Centre, Cineplex Cinemas, Living Arts Centre, YMCA, and Celebration Square, there’s always something to do here.
Transportation
Travelling to and from the Limelight Condos is a breeze, whether residents have access to a car or not. Those who drive can use Mavis Road or Hurontario to reach the 403, and from there the 401 is just a short drive away. As for those who prefer not to drive, it just so happens that there’s a bus stop right outside 365 Prince of Wales, where residents can catch the 6, 8, 26, and 91 MiWay buses.
