Morning coffee is easy with Starbucks and Tim Hortons within a 5 minute walk, and if the building’s gym isn’t sufficient, residents will encounter several fitness centres east of the neighbourhood.
Brookdale Centre is just north of the condos for big box stores and restaurants — both well known chains and locally owned restaurants. Additional shopping and dining can be found at Pickering Town Centre which is only minutes away on Kingston road; this shopping mall hosts an assortment of boutiques, a grocery store, and a Cineplex for movie nights. As well, there’s a large commercial area to the east on Bayly.
For an evening out, residents can venture to Liverpool Rd for pubs and eclectic eateries, and afterwards, stroll at Progress Frenchman's Bay East Park beside the water. Frenchman's Bay Marina is nearby for boating enthusiasts, and there are networks of parks throughout the area with scenic picnic benches.
Transportation
These condos certainly cater to commuters and while there are some shopping options close to home, the neighbourhood isn’t great for running errands on foot. There are bus routes close-by on Bayly and Liverpool Rd for travel within the neighbourhood.
Residents who commute into downtown Toronto have their choice of commuter train or highway; Pickering GO is only 10 minutes away on foot, and there’s a 401 on-ramp on Liverpool, just a 2 minute drive from the condos.
