    In the downtown core’s booming section that hugs the lakeshore, known as the Waterfront neighbourhood, the right company is taking on the narrow wedge of land at 120 Harbour Street and 10 York Street. Tridel is more than aptly named for the triangular site: they’ve earned their distinguished reputation with many community and environmentally conscious developments throughout the city. Their plan for the site is innovative but ultimately charming, and so prospective buyers cannot wait for the Ten York Condos.

    Essential to their development, Tridel called upon the unique vision of Wallman Architects. Completed in 2019, the 65-storey tower features gleaming glass cladding and remarkable platinum vertical fins, which gives the Ten York Condos the look of a luxury contemporary yacht.

    Indeed, as the 4-storey podium culminates in a spectacular glass wedge, it gives the impression of movement — perfect for the vibrant lifestyle offered to prospective residents.

    Inside, the condos will offer an extensive collection of amenities. Furthering the nautical theme, the 7th floor amenities facilities are called the Shore Club. Its state-of-the-art fitness centre includes weights and stretching space as well as yoga and spinning studios, a juice bar, and even a spa.

    Residents can also entertain at the Ten York Condos’ Shore Club. They’ve got access to a theatre, a media and games room, a private lounge, and party and dining areas. These amenities will all be gorgeously appointed, as Tridel called upon the acclaimed II by IV for their interior design.

    Furthermore, there’s an exclusive outdoor space for those living at 10 York Street called the Shore Club Sun Deck. On this spacious outdoor terrace, featuring landscaping by Janet Rosenberg + Studio, there’s ample lounge seating, and both a reflective and swimming pool. After dipping into the latter, the saunas will surely leave a lasting, sumptuous impression.

    The Suites

    As well appointed as its amenities are, the suites at 10 York Street may be even more more captivating. From around 600 to 4,000 square feet in size, the 725 suites offer a variety of one bedroom options that can include additional dens or media spaces, as well as two and three bedroom layouts. Regardless of specific size, prospective homeowners will be proud to claim any of Waterfront condos for sale at Ten York Condos.

    Thanks to II by IV Design, the suites’ contemporary aesthetic also includes many classic accents. The streamlined kitchen cabinetry is complemented by warm granite or quartz countertops, stainless steel ovens, and ceran cooktops.

    Those who opt for Ten York's Signature Collection of suites enjoy even grander cooking and eating features. In these suites breakfast areas feature French doors, matching their massive Liebherr refrigerator’s French doors perfectly.

    The Neighbourhood

    Sitting just south of Maple Leaf Square, residents can accurately call the Toronto Raptors and Maple Leafs their neighbours; playoff games will be hard to resist.

    Even still, prospective buyers attracted to the elegant Ten York Condos may also be similarly swayed by the sophisticated neighbourhood offerings. Some of Toronto’s culinary institutions are steps away, like the venerable Harbour Sixty Steakhouse and Pearl Harbourfront Chinese Cuisine.

    Conversely, York Street leads residents south to Harbour Square. Many cultural venues call this part of the Lakeshore home, including the Harbourfront Centre and the Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery.     Transportation

    Being so close to the Scotiabank Arena means getting around the city will be easy for residents of the Ten York Condos — even without a car. Only about five minutes away, Union Station lets travelers easily access the TTC’s subway trains and streetcars, GO Transit trains and buses, VIA Rail trains and the UP Express to Pearson International Airport.

    Those who do drive will find 10 York Street is located in a prime spot: when living south of the Gardiner Expressway, drivers can avoid the busy traffic heading to Scotiabank Arena and easily drive along the Lakeshore.

    Nonetheless, when drivers do have destinations far from home or outside of the city, the Gardiner is easily accessible thanks to an on-ramp at York Street. Once on this fast-paced highway, drivers can connect to the 427 and Don Valley Parkway with ease.

    Ten York is one of my favourite waterfront high-rise buildings. It was built by one of my favourite builders, Tridel. While this building has 725 condo units, elevator wait times are almost nonexistent. The benefits of living here include: - Breathtaking views all around. - Fantastic amenities. - Friendly building staff. - High-tech door codes for entrance. - Low maintenance fees. Some things for potential residents to keep in mind are: - The construction of a Q-Tower just south of this building may impact views. - The majority of units have half-sized appliances, including a half-sized dishwasher.

    Another beautiful building by Tridel. The lobby is gorgeous. I visited a client's unit and the difference in quality is obvious compared to a lot of the new condos in Toronto.
