The Martin Goodman Trail connects HTO to a wealth of lakeside green spaces with a wide assortment of recreation options; there are tennis courts, a yacht club, a rowing club, tree-shrouded grasslands, baseball diamonds, a dog park, and running trails that go on and on. To the west you have the Harbourfront Square and Sherbourne common; in fact, you can actually follow the Martin Goodman Trail to the Don Valley Trail, all the way to Corktown Commons and the Rosedale Ravine Lands.
Of course, there is much more to waterfront living than green space — from this location you have Toronto’s most noteworthy attractions just minutes from your front door; you can act like a tourist and go to the CN Tower for the Edge Walk, ogle undersea oddities at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, or observe the history of hockey at the Hockey Hall of Fame. For nightlife, the Entertainment District has all the raucous clubs, live music, and cozy pubs that you could desire.
For dining, there are incredible restaurants just around the corner like the Amsterdam BrewHouse and Pizzaiolo Gourmet Pizza, or quick pick ups like Pizza Pizza, Subway and Harvey’s.
